    This 18ct yellow gold Shamrock pendant or charm is available with or without an 18ct yellow gold chain in various lengths. Designed and made by Faller, it is packaged in our green Faller pendant box.

    Shamrock is a plant from the clover family with three-lobed leaves. The word shamrock comes from the Gaelic word Seamrog, meaning “little clover”.  The three parts of the leaf represent hope, faith and love. St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland is said to have used the shamrock to explain the holy trinity while trying to convert the Irish to Christianity, each leaf representing the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  The shamrock is recognised worldwide as the national symbol of Ireland and St. Patrick.
