Description
Miosach garnet silver torc bangle designed and made by Faller. It is inspired by the Miosach book shrine. The rim set oval cabochon garnet, surrounded by an intricate border is fixed to the centre of a solid sterling silver torc bangle with a rectangular cross-section, 4.6mm wide by 3.2mm. We have curved the flat torc ends to make it easier to slide onto the wrist.
Each bangle can be made to order in four wrist sizes: Extra Small, Small, Medium and Large. The gap in each torc bangle can be squeezed narrower or widened slightly to adjust the fit more accurately to your wrist. It is packaged in our Miosach Shrine gift box.
Faller torc bangles are a contemporary interpretation of an ancient type of jewellery worn by both men and women. A torc, which can also be spelled as torque or torq, is most commonly linked to Celtic and Viking cultures. In these societies, bronze and gold torcs, worn on both the wrist and neck, were popular symbols of wealth and prestige.
